For the last 10 years or so, we have had an artificial Christmas tree. This year we decided to make a change. The day after Thanksgiving we toted the family off to Wilfong's Tree Farm as a surprise. We spent several hours frolicking through the tree field in search of the perfect tree to chop down and take home. We took lots of silly pictures, got lots of snags and scratches from thorns, and had lots of fun. Unfortanately, we also spent lots of money... how were we to know that the 'perfect tree' was also the most expensive tree?? Oh well, it's just money, right? On the way home, our perfect tree fell off the top of the truck TWICE... how embarrasing!!
