2008 Christmas Gift
When trying to decide what to get my brothers and sisters for Christmas... I had a thought. I have not given them pictures of the kids for quite some time now. We're talkin like two or three years. So my present could very easily BE the picture. I went out and purchased four black 8x8 frames from Hobby Lobby... they were half off... i love a deal. Anyway, these were the perfect size for a nice digi scrapbook page. Tonight I set out to fill the blank page. The pictures that I used of the kids were extremely colorful, since we took them in the brilliant fall leaves. So I choose a digi kit with toned down colors... black ALWAYS looks good with fall leaves. The kit, Urban Kiwi from Shabby Princess, was perfect. I just love the colors in this kit and I've been looking for an excuse to use it for quite some time. I had to make sure and leave about a 1/4 inch open on all sides to cover the overlay of the frame. I think it turned out pretty good! Let's hope my siblings like it too. :)
